Graduate Management Training Scheme

Become an integral part of a project with our eight-week training placement

CF’s eight-week placement gives NHS graduate management trainees the opportunity to work closely with our industry-leading partners and consultants to better their skills in project management, communication, problem-solving and teamwork.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with an analytical mind, good communication and presentation skills and proficient Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. They must also be able to assimilate information quickly and have strong time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines with competing priorities.

What to expect

The training scheme covers six streams: general management, finance, policy and strategy, health informatics, human resources and health analysis. Trainees will be an integral part of one of our project teams, participating in the problem-solving process, preparing client materials and collaborating with stakeholders as required.

CF provides support throughout the training placement. Trainees can expect a corporate induction run by a manager within our consulting team and 1:1 bi-weekly meetings with their line manager to ensure the placement is meeting the agreed objectives. They will also be assigned a ‘buddy’, who will act as a point of contact and support the trainee throughout the placement.

The placement will involve a mixture of office-based, client site and remote working. All trainees will be provided with a laptop and any other resources required to work on one of our project teams.

Interested applicants should send a CV and cover letter outlining their experience to date, the stream they are on and why they would like to complete their placement at CF to [email protected].
