Just before Christmas, NHS England released the 2023/24 Operational Planning Guidance and Priorities.
The guidance set out three key tasks for 2023/24:
- Recovering core services and productivity
- Delivering against the key ambitions in the NHS Long Term Plan
- Continue transforming the NHS for the future
The guidance sets out a number of evidence-based measures to deliver improvements, as well as the metrics NHS England will be focusing on.
